It’s more than just a run—it’s a full-on color-filled celebration of childhood health and wellness! CBHA’s annual 5K Color Run brings over 1,000 runners, walkers, strollers, and wagons together for a fun, high-energy event where participants get splashed with color at every turn. It’s messy, it’s lighthearted, and it’s made for all ages.

This event is all about shining a spotlight on childhood wellness in the Columbia Basin. Whether you’re sprinting, strolling, or dancing through the course, every step helps raise awareness for kids with special needs and supports families working to build healthier lives. CBHA’s 5K Run for a Cause creates a real connection to the challenges local children face, and a fun, meaningful way for our community to show up for them.
- 💰 WHERE YOUR SUPPORT GOES
Every dollar raised stays right here in our community. Proceeds help provide essentials for local families, like warm clothing, bilingual books, developmental toys, playpens, and balance bikes. We’ve also contributed to improving our city parks to give all kids more space to thrive. So come out, get messy, and make a difference. With post-race lawn games, music, food, and fun for the whole family! This is one event you won’t want to miss.
- 🏃♂️ Do I have to be a runner?
Nope! Move at your own pace—walk, jog, skip, or sprint! Strollers and wagons are welcome too. This event is for all ages and abilities to enjoy!
